My regular pilates sessions with Amanda played an integral role in my pregnancy with our second baby. I began Amanda’s classes early in my first trimester and continued all the way up to 39 weeks. All along the way, Amanda always offered safe yet challenging modifications, positions and compound movements that built strength and alleviated common soreness associated with pregnancy, all while keeping me and baby safe. Ultimately, when the big day came, my active labor was over in 20 minutes after a few big pushes. I credit Amanda’s classes for such a strong pregnancy and speedy delivery.
